WELCOME TO THE IKE UDEH FOUNDATION
Who We Are
In 1996, Ike Udeh was drafted into professional soccer by the Kansas City Wizards—but this is not the start of his story.
Born in Enugu, Nigeria, Ike grew up with a passion for education and sports. His exceptional athletic and academic achievements brought him national recognition, leading to a scholarship opportunity in America in 1992.
Throughout his successful career, Ike recognized that his accomplishments stemmed from a solid foundation of family, faith, education, and sports.
He realized that personal success alone wasn't enough. He felt called to give back, knowing that the next generation of young people holds the keys to a better world—they just need an opportunity.
What started as a humble weekly book reading and giveaway under a tent has grown into The Ike Udeh Foundation, a registered 501c3 organization. We have now completed construction of our four-story Library and Life center in Nigeria, The Center stands as a vibrant hub of activity, welcoming hundreds of children daily. This thriving center of learning and development embodies our mission to provide young people with the resources they need to build brighter futures.
Through our state-of-the-art facility, we witness firsthand how access to education and life skills training transforms lives. The center has become a beacon of hope and opportunity in the community, exactly as we envisioned.
